2017 Cleveland Technology Awards Honors Metisentry
We’re pleased to be honored with our first award of 2017. Metisentry has been named an honoree of the inaugural 2017 Cleveland Technology Awards presented by Smart Business. We’re among 26 companies to be recognized as 2017 honorees. Of those 26 honorees, we’re one of 12 to be recognized as an Established Tech Firm.
“We are very proud to receive this prestigious award. Our team at Metisentry is excited about the growth we are experiencing and we are proud to be a part of the advancing Northeast Ohio tech scene,” shares Metisentry CEO, Mike Fischer.
The Cleveland Technology Awards recognize Northeast Ohio organizations that develop and implement impactful technology. To be eligible for an award, nominees must have a physical location in the 14-county region of Northeast Ohio. This includes Ashland, Ashtabula, Cuyahoga, Erie, Geauga, Huron, Lake, Lorain, Medina, Portage, Start, Summit, Tuscarawas, and Wayne counties. Nominees are considered for one of three categories. Companies that develop and either sell or license technology and provide technology-based services are recognized as Established Developers and Tech Firms. Best new upstarts are honored in the Start-up Tech firm category. While the Implementers and Users category is for companies that use or implement technology to improve processes, reduce costs or gain efficiencies.
In honor of this achievement, Metisentry will be recognized at the awards luncheon to be held on Thursday, March 23, 2017. The afternoon will include networking, lunch, and a panel discussion followed by Q&A. Speakers include business and tech minds from Explorys, Votem and Benesch. The event will take place at The Silver Grille in the historic Higbee Building in Downtown Cleveland.
UPDATE: The awards luncheon was held last week and Metisentry received a commemorative plaque. It is now proudly on display in the lobby of our Downtown Akron headquarters. Check out pictures here!
